Hiring a full-time senior engineer is expensive. The average salary for a senior engineer in the US is $150,000, plus benefits, equipment, and other overhead costs. Our service provides the expertise you need at a fraction of the cost. Plus, you only pay for the work you need, when you need it.
No, there's no limit to the number of requests you can submit. We deliver them one by one, ensuring each task gets the attention it deserves.
Most requests are completed in three days or less. Simple changes can often be delivered the next business day. For more complex requests, we'll provide regular updates and partial deliveries to keep your project moving forward.

Typical requests are delivered in 48 hours on average. This includes setting up a new domain from scratch (dns, email), setting up observability tools for an app, analyzing a performance bottleneck, etc.

If a request is much larger in size, expect to receive deliverables every 24 hours until the entire request is complete.

It's not necessary. We can deliver for example terraform configuration files, a separate repository or, if the request is large, a mini environment reproducing yours.

However, if you can give PE access, that's the best case for everyone since and we'll be more than happy to sign an NDA if needed.

You might be surprised to hear this, but PE is actually a company of one.

This means you'll work directly with me, founder of PE.

We understand you may not have enough design work to fill up entire month.

Perhaps you only have one or two requests at the moment. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy.

Billing cycles are based on 31 day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.

Larger requests are broken down on PE's end.

This applies to setting up a full Kubernetes cluster, CI pipeline, GitFlow tools, etc. You should expect to receive a reasonable amount of work every 24-48 hours until the entire request is done.

PE offers a ton of flexibility in how you request designs using Trello.

Some common ways clients request designs is directly via Trello, sharing Google docs or text files, or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out).

Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.

No worries! We'll continue to revise the artifacts delivered until you're 100% satisfied.

That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have additional platform engineering needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.

We are more than happy to tackle requests involving tools we are not experts in: GCP, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and more. If it has documentation, we can deliver!
